Neck stiffness and pain

Many people experience neck pain or stiffness occasionally. In many cases, it’s from poor posture or overuse, working at a desk for too long without changing position or by sleeping in an awkward position. Those factors can lead to muscle tension and strain.
Stretching exercises can make the muscles in your neck stronger and more limber, they can expand or preserve the range of motion and elasticity in affected cervical (neck) joints and thus relieve the stiffness that accompanies pain. As a general rule, neck stretching is best done every day and are done in a manner that does not cause pain. Some stretches even can be done several times a day as they are very simple and don't take long to do it.
Having a strong neck can help prevent or solve other problems related with your shoulders, upper back, and arms pain, because our body works as a one Unit.
